Iā€™m Fine

The Film I'm Fine is Sharlene's Directorial Debut. It is about Rosie, a young woman grappling with anxiety who finds solace in calls to her supportive mother, navigating the challenges of mental health and the healing power of maternal understanding.

Some of the events in the Film are based on Sharlene's life experiences. After being struck by a car when she was 17 and suffering from anxiety attacks, She knew she wanted to write something that sheds light on what anxiety attacks look like, battling not wanting to be a burden to her friends and the feeling of grief when the person who helps her through her anxiety attacks is no longer there. She hopes this Film will allow people to be more compassionate towards one another as we never know what others could be silently battling.
